In Pursuit I flew fifty-seven missions over Europe during WWII and I feel like I remember a little of what I was taught. I’ve learned a lot of things from reading Johan Kylander’s book “In Pursuit” that I wish I had known way back then. There is a bit of drama, some humor, a healthy dose of paranormal, some heartache and finally a very sweet and hard-won HEA. This is the seventh book in the series, but it is really the prequel to the “Mad Morelands” – you can read this book first or seventh without issue, but either way – read it! I loved this story and happily recommend it!/5(39).

Doris Lessing is one of those authors I'f always heard about but never actually read. The book (autobiographical) is not one of her more well known titles, but it offers a wonderful sketch of postwar London full of quirky working class characters and gritty kitchen-sink observations. It's also quite funny/5.

Crick's 'What Mad Pursuit' is, like 'The Double Helix', a story about scientific research. He is however a more self-conscious story-teller than Watson, possibly because he is writing after several attempts have been made to tell the story of the discovery of the structure of DNA in different media.4/5.
